With increased attention on carbon capture projects, there was a need to mitigate image problems for these projects and the organizations, individuals and businesses, like Summit Carbon Solutions, who were backing CO2 pipelines. 


Velocity built and launched an organization for voices and supporters to coalesce behind. A website and social channels were built, messaging sets, and talking points were polled, and a comprehensive communications strategy was put in motion to improve the narrative surrounding carbon capture projects in the policy arena. 


This project continues to be in progress. Through dozens of rounds of activation text messages, phone programs, newsletters and other means, this new organization has identified over 4,000 supporters. These efforts have produced 700 docket letters, 2,275 patch phone calls, and 2,700 letters sent to legislators.
